A timeless story of family and change…

Written by Simon Parker and directed by Simon Harvey, with original music by Simon Dobson and a local cast, Gonamena presents the timeless story of a Cornish family and community living through an extreme time of irreversible change. Based on real events and set in the stunning Gonamena Valley and Caradon Hill mining landscape, the story centres on one family’s emotional turmoil as they face the challenges of rapid transformation, loss and hope during the mining boom and bust of the late 1800s.
